Founded in 2022, GaltTec is pioneering fuel cell technology to meet the growing demand for lightweight, sustainable, and highly efficient energy solutions. The company’s fuel cells are designed to significantly extend operational endurance for drones and IoT devices, making them a game-changer for industries that rely on long-lasting, portable power sources. We are the first Estonian startup to join the NATO DIANA accelerator program, which supports deep-tech companies contributing to national security and defense. We have just secured 1M EUR funding to provide high-efficiency power solutions for drones and off-grid devices.

As an engineer you will directly contribute to GaltTec’s innovative technology development and make sure that our products are to the highest standards.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds an MSc degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics or a closely related field, and is ready to enroll in a PhD program (required for employment);
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Thrives in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment and can perform well under pressure;
• Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Bonus: Has previous experience with YSZ electrolytes or materials related to SOFC (Solid Oxide Fuel Cells).
